Nichola qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist with a BSc (Hons) in 1997 from the University of Salford.
She began her career working in the NHS at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen
University Hospitals NHS Trust, where she developed a keen interest in treating
musculoskeletal conditions.


In December 1999, Nichola relocated to Oxford, joining the Oxford University
Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. There, she gained experience in various areas
including GP out-patients, trauma, accident and emergency, hands and plastics, and
post-orthopaedic surgery.
Nichola currently works part-time at the clinic and part-time in a GP surgery as a
First Contact Physiotherapist. In this role, she assesses, diagnoses, and manages
musculoskeletal conditions. She brings valuable expertise in prescribing and
injection therapy, contributing to informed discussions on the best management
strategies for your condition.
Nichola has a particular interest in sporting injuries and long-term conditions such as
arthritis. She enjoys treating both acute and chronic conditions, including back and
neck pain as well as upper and lower limb conditions. She uses a variety of
treatment techniques to manage symptoms, including Pilates-based exercises,
manual therapy, taping, and soft tissue release. She also holds a postgraduate
qualification in Acupuncture.
Nichola is passionate about delivering effective, evidence-based physiotherapy. She
believes in fully engaging patients in all aspects of their treatment, ensuring a
collaborative approach to help them achieve their goals. Her treatments are tailored
to each individual’s needs.
Nichola is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), the
Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), and the Acupuncture Association of
Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
